Katiaus, Levity, good to see you here! Here's some lore articles: powerwiki.na.aiononline.com/aion/LoreAs far as a good basic class...Warrior is 1 of the 4 basic starting classes, around level 10 you can become a Gladiator (DPS) or Templar (tank) specialty.

Echo! I sent you a whisper after the friend invite disappeared, but didn't get a reply. That was you, yes? Sorry about that, but my hands were busy healing a certain crazy gladiator. Hope to see you and others soon! Having a great time in Aion so far! Ari

I appear to have Aion installed, patched, and launchable. But at 1 hour for a queue to even get in to make a character, I declined. I'm still not sure whether to go Elyos or Asmodian on Lumiel, as you guys went Elyos and my WoW friends are Asmodian Though you lot seem to be settled in and guilded and stuff ... the WoW folks are just dabbling like me. I'm toying with the name Meryla, assuming no one's nabbed it.

Oatik can be found, look for the lazy level 3 warrior.
Kitao is rumored to be there was well, but I don't think he's made it out of character creation.

Anyone up for all getting online tonight (Friday), say maybe by 7pm eastern? If we do nothing else, just to add to the freakin' friends list!

Sounds good to me, Kul. I'll be on at 7 PM Friday 9/25 on Elendion most likely (barring any queue issues)!
Aion really needs to work on its friends list concept. I have an idea- copy exactly how DAoC did it 8 years ago. You could add someone as a friend whether they were on or offline, you didn't have to ask permission (can be missed while afk), and there was a mini-window on your UI you could glance at to see who was on at any instant. Sounds like a perfect system to me.

In-laws are here tonight so I'll either be on all night with the chair pushed up against the door...or if you don't see me you can fear the worst.

Yes, count me in. I will plan to sign on at 7pm Eastern.
Here's a list of some names to look for:
Oatik, Kitao Morreion, Elendion Jaema Grigorian, Maiya Paradis, Khelfaer, Matreya Meryla
And of course, for the guy with all the "kul" characters just use /who kul
Yep, Ari that was me last night...no problems...I usually assume someone is engaged in that kind of a situation. Actually Paradis was up to his ears in Tursin Outlaws right after that. Hope to see you and the others this eve.

And of course, for the guy with all the "kul" characters just use /who kul With the exception of "Drakul" and sadly, just "Kul" (those are the only two I know of off-hand that aren't me).
