This encounter could be difficult if people didn't pay attention or follow directions. There are a lot of ways to get lost down there if you don't know where you're going.

Master Level 4 This took place in the desert, and to get to the final boss, 4 towns defended by Setians had to be taken (in a particular order by different battlegroups if I remember right). The mini-boss of each town was inside the main temple. There was a dicey step on the side of a pyramid regarding cobras, and then the big boss was inside in a huge vault. This one took a lot of people and coordination.

ML4 was way too hard IMO. Not really the entire ML, but the step with the seitan camps. You're right, it took a lot of coordination to get it correct.
I still remember, and sometimes kid with him about it, when Kul wiped out about 90 people of my ML raid. He lead the two big tornadoes up the pyramid while we were taking a ten minute break (so some people were AFK). People came back to dead characters, or in the midst of dying. Luckily, one of the three or four survivors, so happened to be a druid (she was lagging behind and inside the pyramid still). I think only our group knew that Kul was the cause of that. LOL
;D

Haha! I want to say I was there, because I remember we almost didn't make it past that step! I do remember you were the leader, too. Good times!
Sooooooo, Kul.... ;D

Haha! I didn't notice it before, but that totally is my raid! That's the one I lead with my bard; the one standing in blue with everyone standing around her in the last pic. Also, I'm pretty sure that's Kul in the foreground. He was often mismatched in such a manner.

That's cool, I think you're right! I'm on my keen mana Mentalist alt (Rhiam) there, though in some of the shots I was on my Druid alt Brannad, which was another raid...we did those raids multiple times.
Man, those were the days.

Yep, that's Nakul, the Nightshade in front of the last pic. The leather and jeans look! heh As far as the raid wipe, "You told me to get my butt back up the steps while I was exploring... so I did." The end.

Yep, that's Nakul, the Nightshade in front of the last pic. The leather and jeans look! heh Called it! I've grouped with that naughty keen too much to not notice him. As far as the raid wipe, "You told me to get my butt back up the steps while I was exploring... so I did." The end. Technically, you should have never been down there to begin with. And I didn't say to bring the two level 100 tornadoes with you when you came!

You know by now that you that you have to keep your eye on me, eh? heh As far as the raid wipe, "You told me to get my butt back up the steps while I was exploring... so I did." The end. Technically, you should have never been down there to begin with. And I didn't say to bring the two level 100 tornadoes with you when you came! Technically, you never said not to go down there. And you also didn't say NOT to bring them with me. hehehe

Master Level 5 ML5 wasn't the hardest Master Level if I remember right- it all took place in the big stone temple out in Stygia. There were some precursor steps that could be done with a group (not uncommon in MLs). There was a set of long tall stairs that involved some danger. The raid visited some founts and we all became mummies! We then traveled down the River Lethe in boats and eventually fought our way to the end boss, a crocodilian monstrosity. Fun stuff!
