Viewpoint. I am not proficient on the mechanics of writing, being more of an intuitive writer, but there are certain subjects- viewpoint is one of them- that one needs to be aware of. I've found myself getting sloppy with this if I don't actively think about it.

The article mentioned second-person viewpoint- I'm finally glad to see what that is, and why people don't use it
