Uthgard now has a new Celt Champion, Marsalis. I created him this evening killed one annoying lucradan and got a quest, and then got busy with family.
It was surprisingly easy to get started. For the record, here is how I handled the client business I was asking about earlier. I opened the EA folder that had DAoC in it (the official folder) and then I copied everything from it into a folder in my program files of a different name (in this case Dark Age of Camelot rather than Elecronic Arts/Dark Age of Camelot). Then I pointed DAoC Portal Client at the new folder ... voila ... started right up and left my other folder intact in case I want to use my old characters. Assuming that I can sign in again without problems, I am good to go. And it was a lot faster than streaming a download from Mythic. I'll find out later tonight.
