Why do you write?

With me it is to convey an emotion, a situation with unexpected emotional overtones that hopefully surprise the reader or make them say I didn't see that coming. It is more about evoking a mood than simply telling a story with me.

I wonder if that even makes sense. The stories that I've enjoyed writing the most were inside needing to get out.

I think I'm giving it a shot for a couple reasons, one is just to see if I can. You read enough of the same type of books and it doesn't take long to see the formula, but that isn't really inventing a plot or characters. We'll see how that goes.

The second reason is I'd just like to tell some tales about Oatik, there doesn't seem to be much in game RP these days (maybe I need to seek it out) so I'm just sharing thing out of game.
