The Daily Grind: How realistic do you like your games? (Massively)Generally speaking, I tend to like more realism than less. I like realistic-looking models (I really dislike 10-foot-long extremely wide swords and other weapons) and I tend to like mechanics such as foraging and eating. This can be carried too far of course, but overall I like my games on the realistic side.

I swing both ways on this. I do enjoy the exaggerated, Final Fantasy-look. I grew up playing games like that, and watching anime, so it appeals to me. However, after WoW, I had my fill of it for the time being. I am ready for a realistic-looking game. Unfortunately for me, WAR is a cross between the two. Now I love how the game looks, but I'm just ready for realism. I was thinking of moving to SWTOR when it came out, but they're going with the cartoon look.
I would like a world based around realism all ways; in it's function and look. I think that would be awesome to play. While I'll take, graphically, unrealistic looking scenery and characters, I hate stories or mechanics that are unrealistic. I know I'm playing a fantasy game, and in this game there are fireballs and trolls, but that doesn't mean that they can't behave within a realistic manner.
