Question here. This is my first time through.
When you say prologue, is that a formal track of quests or is that just the period between levels 7 and the beginning of Book I?
Pekoe went from Archet (the fire) to Little Delving and then made his way to Bree and the PP Inn. How should I go about leveling to 15...back to Delving of Hobbiton...or just pick up any quests I can find until level 15?
Thanks

The Prologue is the quest chain prior to Book 1, Chapter 1, typically abbreviated 1.1 (or 1.1.1). Each Chapter is an epic quest chain that advances the storyline through Middle Earth, and some of them are beautifully done- if you like lore, you're in the right game You should be able to level wherever you like- you'll pick up the Prologue quest in any area if I remember right (Grig correct me if I'm wrong)- you'll get sent to the Prancing Pony I think.

Finally! LotRO is patched, and I'm in. I've created a new captain, Bedregar, and a hobbit minstrel Germania (should a Runekeeper, Captain, and Lorekeeper not be equal to the task). Babies is a bit of a misnomer, Echo. I have three - they're seven, and five (twins), but still young enough that I don't dare take my eyes off of them for more than a few minutes at a time (and they're still *my* babies). See you all on Thursday! Cirig

I'd like to join the Thurs night group and will make an elf. If I could have a little more time to think about the class - I'm considering either a Champion or a Hunter. I need a relatively simple and straight forward role, given the limited time I can commit to her learning.

Morreion is correct. You should have a Prologue quest and when it ends you will be sent to Bree.

Jaema, let me know what you're playing. If you prefer hunter. I'll be happy to make a Champ for this adventure.
Really looking forward to this. It should be a blast.

Yeah...I wimped out Actually, Grig and I grouped for a bit with his guardian and my runekeeper to do the gobbie ruins. After a few seconds I knew that the class would drive me crazy as a healer, and since in almost every game I've played I make at least 7 million versions of the same class (I had 5 bards in DAoC! ;D ) this is par for the course. I've kept the runekeeper for THOSE kinds of days when all I want to do is blast something to smithereens! They are very good at that! Now to learn some bawdy songs...

echo -I'd hoped to get an hour on each maybe and then decide but am struggling with getting the massive updates done, tech errors etc, and haven't been able to get in the game yet.
I don't want to hold you up though and if it's easier for you to know now, I'll just pick the Champion. The game is largely new to me though I did play a hunter into teens with Morr, some time ago. But for all intents the game is like right out of the box for me.
