Guild Emblem

Okay, in case no one knows, you can create your own guild emblem. Yes, there are preset ones in the game to choose from, but very few, and to be honest, they're not all that great (I only kind of like two of them).

So, being an artist, I was going to create a guild emblem for us. Traditionally, Roisin Dubh has a sword and rose on their emblem. Roisin Dubh (pronounced "rosheen" "doov") translates to Black Rose ("rose black" literally), in case there was anyone who didn't know. However, before I start to draw something, I thought I'd get people's input first.

I was going to draw a shield, with a sword diagonally behind it. I was going to create a rose on the shield. I was also thinking about a version similar to the original, which was a vertical sword with a rose entwined around it. What does everyone else think? Does anyone have any other ideas? Any other artists out there that wants to do it instead? Let me know over the weekend and I'll create some comps next week for voting purposes.

I've sketched something out, but haven't drawn it yet. Hmm... let me go scan it in.

So this is something like I was thinking. I drew it during a meeting at work. If everyone likes it, I'll continue with the design and refine it.
