From time to time in my wandering I come across materials that find their way into by pack. I'd like to be able to send them to people that can use them. Crafting can be a bit expensive. Some key materials are random drops and grinding for them can be time consuming.
A network of material exchange might be beneficial. If you are like me, there I times when I'm just questing and exploring and can stop to harvest.
So I just scanned the boards here and made a list of any crafts that people have said they are adopting.
If there are any particular materials that any of you are in need of, post here or let Paradis know in game. He'll be on the lookout for them and stop to gather them in his travels and send them to you.
Alchemy - Nyctea, Khelfaer
Armorsmithing - Grigorian, Paradis, Merylla
Cooking - Ariesel
Tailoring - Nakul, Maiya, Jaema, Merylla
Handicrafting - Kitao
Weaponsmithing - Oatik, Merylla
I'm not sure this list is complete. Add to it if I've missed something or correct it if I'm wrong.

Actually, Merylla is mostly going to deal with weapon and armor crafting, but happens to have some tailoring going for now as well. There's one mat I'm missing for some early steel pieces that would be upgrades: Aetheric (or Aether?) something. I don't think I've ever seen it drop, and it's not on the craft vendors I've perused.
If anyone knows what it is and where to procure it, I'd be grateful for the information.

You actually gather this from a small vortex in the sky above Verteron Citadel. If you look up into the sky you will see these things floating along with the fragments that are up there. Just fly up...gather two or three times...and then fly to safety. Rinse and repeat. There are usually a couple of these "small vortex" up there ...they will respawn periodically. I hope this helps you. I think that's the material you're talking about. |

Good idea, Echo!
I'm still holding off on crafting, I might end up dabbling in cooking or alchemy but don't anyone save stuff for me, I have a bank alt that I send mats to for that purpose (and I may never get around to it- I typically enjoy gathering more than crafting).
I am saving tailoring mats for Jaema and I've been saving weaponcrafting / handicrafting stuff for Oat, I'll try to remember to save armorcrafting mats as well for any who would like them.

Kitao has spent all of his money on crafting and has reached level 100, he'd be happy to make things for everyone, but I'll need the materials, to see what is available jewelry and such you can find it here...sure it's in French but I'm sure if you want a pretty new ring you can figure it out! aion.luna-atra.fr/craft-toolI can always translate in game...if we can ever find each other. |

Nice site...I read a little French.  I go here ... www.aionarmory.com/ ... if one pulls down the recipe tab on that front page of the armory, you can find the different professions. The thing I like about this site is that it gives all of the ingredients of the item to be made and then if you drill through the materials it will actually tell you where to find them, where to gather them, what drops them, if you can morph them etc... It's a nice little spreadsheet - if you click the top of a column it will reverse the sort. Here's an example: www.aionarmory.com/search.aspx?browse=131.5#recipes:0+2+1For this example, if I want Kitao to craft me a silver ring (for level 18 character) then I need to give him some silver, 2 lesser accessory flux, and 3 aether powder. If I don't have those, then I just click on the ingredients and it shows me what to hunt for the drop. etc...etc. |

Oh English, now isn't that handy! Every item can also crit and make a better item. I actually haven't made any real items yet so consider it all just blind luck at this point.
