Total Eclipse April 8th 2024

This doesn't happen every day. I got some shots of what happened (which wasn't easy). Hope you all saw whatever you could of the eclipse, it was amazing!

Amazing pictures Morr! I watched Nasa live on Youtube & it brought tears to my eyes hearing the scientists & people get so emotional about it all.

We had a partial eclipse and my neighbors probably wondered what the crazy lady was doing with her colander outside

*laughs* It was well-worth seeing Arie! The shadows all being crescent-shaped is cool! When the light dropped off, the quality of the light was different- almost as if it was artificial lighting. It took a long time for totality to show up, the air got cool. A red-winged blackbird nearby made a series of outrageous sounds when the sun showed back up!
