Yep. I've been concerned about our national debt since the end of the second term of W. Bush. From Obama on, it just seems to keep going up by leaps and bounds. Doesn't anyone budget anymore?

Yep. Politicians thinking they have a book of blank checks to use on whatever they deem.

I didn't post on this yesterday because I was too flabbergasted to think of anything.
... I still am.
I can't even begin to think of how this will play out. I keep thinking of that saying "If you owe the bank a $100, that's your problem. If you owe the bank $100,000,000, that's their problem." I don't see how it's feasible for this to ever be repaid (from our standpoint) or collected (by whomever this is owed). If we can't change how we spend to start paying this back, can we at least stop accruing more?
I don't see today's politicians ever not being able to overspend; it's too engrained in their way of life now.
Did anyone ever watch Dark Angel back in the 90s? It was the dystopian future state of an America who's economy collapsed. Great show, but I do not want to live in that world.
