us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/wow-classic-realm-names-and-types/246645I only see one rp realm-server and at least on an US/Eastern time zone Name Type Time Zone Bloodsail Buccaneers RP Eastern "normal" realms there's two eastern Name Type Time Zone Atiesh Normal Pacific Mankrik Normal Eastern Myzrael Normal Pacific Pagle Normal Eastern I'd thought to go to an rp realm because I find the atmosphere and population more amenable usually. But that server may be swamped. We do have to create on the server we want to play on, I understood from Blizzard's previous posts. What does everyone think ? The entire list, including the many pvp servers (?!) are at the link above.

I'm all for the RP PvE server but like you say it may be swamped. Failing that, any Eastern PvE server is good for me.

My vote would be to create on the rp server and then take a "patience" potion on launch night because we'll be in a huge queue possibly. Lets just ride it out. I think the eastern pve servers will also be busy so everyone is also going to be experiencing mob shortages etc for a couple weeks I'd guess. I think the rp server will have a more cooperative population. Or at least some entertaining chat to listen to while we all camp for X  |

Going wherever you all wish! Streamer SmoothMcGroove has said he's making his guild on Pagle, so there will be a ton joining him there, including two other streamers I watch. It's a newish phenomenon to consider where streamers are headed, as some of their followings are so large they tend to dominate the server. And, unfortunately, some of those players appear from their fanatic chat to be not so nice people.  I think most of them are going PvP, but it's something one may have to face on the normal servers. Not really sure if any of them are going RP in WoW. From the reactions I've read so far yes, Bloodsail Buccaneers will be packed, but hopefully Blizzard may open more options once they can see how many roll there? <fingers crossed> So, "normal" servers are PvE unless you flag yourself, and a PvE server doesn't have PvP at all? Is that correct? Is that even a thing? I couldn't find a definite description anywhere. Ari |

What do we need to do? I have my login credentials for my original WoW (if it's not hacked), but not the game installed. I do see a Starter Edition, but not sure if that one would let me try to login to my original account.

Character Creation InfoLog into Battle.net with your account details. In the App, click on the World of Warcraft tab. Select "WoW Classic” in the Version or Region/Account drop-down menus, and hit the Install button. Once installed, make sure you have Classic selected & hit play! Just make sure you're on the Bloodsail Buccaneers realm, because it kept putting me on a default one every time I disconnected & I had to keep changing the realm to BB. Hope that helps! Ari

Okay, I'm set now! I have the maximum three. A Nakul, Rakul and Takul... Gnome Rogue, Night Elf Ranger and Dwarf Warrior. I can delete and make another 'Kul as needed.

You crazy alt-aholics can make 50! Anyone who hasn't created yet would probably want to get in there and be ready with one anyway for the launch. Blizz added more servers, again today, as Full and High servers should expect lengthy queues. In previous postings devs said the current "Full" is many multiples higher than what Full meant originally. Even though Bloodsail is not slammed I wonder if we'll still struggle with the crowds just to get login.

So the word on Bloodsail discord is that the server has just flipped to "Full". So that means we should expect queues of some length. The positive spin on this is that a full RP server is a healthy place to be long term and we won't find deserted zones |
