Long Time

Hello there,

It's been a long time, but I wanted to see how everyone was and what you were doing.

No easy way to say that I lost my beloved Charlie (Grigorian) a little over two years ago to cancer. It's been a struggle emotionally to come to terms with this and every day is a new start. So anyways...

I will be playing Pantheon in alpha and forwards, so maybe will "see" some of you in the future.

Hope everyone is doing well. I do miss the old gaming days. :-)

Hello Ariesal. It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about Grig. I remember him from back in the good ol' days of Dark Age of Camelot. I traveled with him a several times. He was always kind. Time is carrying us all on. In the past few years, I've known of several DAoC'ers who have past on.

I think Gack is interested in playing Pantheon. It's supposed to be a pretty good game. I'm waiting for Camelot Unchained myself. Hopefully it'll live up to being DAoC's spiritual predecessor.

So terribly sorry to hear about Grigorian! He was a class act in a gaming world that could certainly use more of him. I like Rego remember him from DAoC, I also remember him from our time playing in LOTRO. He will be missed very much.

I miss the old days quite a bit, too. I have to say that DAoC was a highlight of those days. I still hope for their return.

Pantheon! I'm following it closely, since Shroud of the Avatar hasn't panned out that well for me Pantheon is the MMO I'm most interested in playing. We'll have to get back together with all the gang I can drag there Arie Stay in touch here!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had many good times with you and Grigorian as well. I know how very difficult losing a spouse to cancer can be. One day at a time.

I haven't been doing any MMOs lately, the last being Guild Wars 2 about three or four years ago. Sadly I've just had no interest in any of the latest releases.

Ariesel - so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember some fun times grouping with you and Grigorian and Morr. If you're in the alpha of Pantheon its sounds like you'll be the first one amongst us to test there -- fingers crossed that it offers a fun place for you to escape for a bit.
