it's just vanilla now; they're planning to add SI zone by zone in the future.
they upgraded the server and raised the limit, but there's still a queue!! 2826 people playing with a 1000 man queue!
It was really fun when I played earlier this week. Groups everywhere, most tossing out invites on sight.

Wow! That is cool, queues! This shows that there is still a hunger for old school games. I've been overall disappointed in where the MMO industry has been heading in the last several years. I'll probably give Uthgard a try soon...when the queues die down  |

Is that player-ran or EA-Mythic? free, volunteer, player-ran How long's the wait time for a queue like that? it was about 4 hours, but it seems like it's only bad during Europe peak time. I got in last night California time with no queue. |

And here I was just popping my little head back in to mention Uthgard had relaunched  Karen and I have been playing a bit but now she's fallen ill to a stomach bug. Those queues are crazy, but think about it for a moment. 2700ish people online and actively playing, another 2200 waiting in a queue... That's nearly *5000* people wanting to play; that's huge! We haven't found any roleplayers yet, but we also haven't been actively searching for any and more riding the tides of nostalgia as music familiar from years past rings through the speakers again and muscle memory starts to kick in for keyboard shortcuts and hotbar usage. We both had an unexpected moment of silence as we ran to Ardee and saw the Log again. Popo has been forced to become Popoe (Which annoys me...) but what can you do? My playhours are strange because of my work schedule, but who knows, perhaps we'll run into one another when the queue finally ticks it's way down! |
