Interesting! I might try this again! Remember when the crew from here tried the original Uthgard in 2010? farjourneys.proboards.com/board/7/daoc-uthgardAfter all the talk about how great it would be to relive DAoC, it lasted about a month. That was the last time I ever tried to relive the past with the old gang lol. What, me bitter?  But it might be worth a try again. |

Yeah, I'll be going in with very low expectations. Just reading the Uthgard forum is enough to dent my nostalgia. I don't think I'm capable of camping fins for 60 hours in 2017.

I hear you. No doubt we've all changed since then. I absolutely LOVED DAoC 16 years ago but who knows about now?
I might be a lone voice in this, but I liked the old Shrouded Isles engine- Catacombs engine (what Uthgard uses) made my characters look too different than what they used to look like.

so much fun tonight!! TONS of people in the starting zones. Really easy to find leveling groups. I joined a group at orchard nippers near Mag Mell and we moved to water beetles north of Ardee. We all dinged lv 5 together and went to TNN together to train our classes. Lots of starter guild chat!

I was gonna go mana ment, but apparently that, druid, and enchanter are the most popular classes. Champion was by far the least popular!!
