I used to play a series of FPS games called Delta Force back in the late 90s and early 2000's before I became an MMO fanatic. I have lots of (unfortunately small) pictures from those days, I'll try to find some larger ones worth posting sometime.
There wasn't a whole lot of professional websites devoted to games back then, so amateur websites were more common. I created Delta Force Mayhem that had articles and tips on how to play, a forum, and of course pictures that I took by the bucketload. (my character name was Captain Mayhem back then, lol). I used the Homestead web hosting service, though I also used Geocities back then too. It's gone now- I eventually balked at paying a fairly steep yearly fee for hosting my sites, and I was losing interest in those games anyway. But I ran across this image of the front page of the site and thought I'd post it for nostalgic reasons. Yes, that's a burning flame GIF bar on the page. Hey, it was the 90s.
