Thought it would be interesting to see what unreleased games people are looking forward to... Since I'm growing bored with themeparks, I'm looking forward to a sandbox game, of which there are several in development. My top 3: EverQuest NextIt looks like SOE is trying to come up with a new approach to MMOs here- a sandbox possibly with an emphasis on player-created content. I'm so ready for something different! The RepopulationA sci-fi skill-based sandbox with an emphasis on building, now that sounds great! Star CitizenAn indie Kickstarted project- don't give me that look, they've raised 9 million bucks!- a spaceship & planet sandbox with trading, combat, the works. The guy making this (Chris Roberts) made Wing Commander, Privateer & Freelancer, so he knows how to make a solid game. There are some other sandboxes that I keep an eye on too, such as Archeage (though I'm not as sure about this as I once was), Black Desert, Embers of Caerus. And I also have an eye out for Camelot Unchained and Shroud of the Avatar. I figure one of these games has to be good enough to entertain me long-term! (he said laughing nervously!)

From what I've seen about Star Citizen, it looks like it could be really cool. I'm interested in seeing more about it. What I'm looking forward to the most is Camelot Unchained. Of course, that's a few years out (less for those who backed it, we get a crack early next year). I'm also looking forward to The Elder Scrolls Online. I think it's going to be great. It has so much potential; I hope it's not wasted. Another game that I'm really interested in is Banished. I don't remember where I first heard about it (it was probably here ), but I've been on the newsletter ever since. It's kind of like a medieval SimCity meets Civilization; with crop rotation, hunter/gather society, weather effects, etc. It looks like it'll be a lot of fun. It's being built by a single guy, so there's no telling on when it'll actually be released.

Yeah, Banished looks and sounds great. No idea when we'll see it though. Since it seems like just the one guy making it. The Division looks great too, but so far only for the next gen consoles(bleh). I recently bought the Cube World Alpha. It's a great little game, but so far there's not a lot to do in it. So you just end up running around the map and killing stuff for XP. There's some dungeons to clear, but they are all basically the same thing. It's not a bad game at the moment, and has a lot of promise DayZ Standalone. I really wanna play this. I've been playing DayZ again a bit lately. And Dark Souls 2. God I can't wait. Dark Souls is such an amazing game. If you haven't played it I would get on that asap Oh, and that Blizzard game "Hearthstone".

Oh yeah, The Division! I forgot about that one. It looks like it has a lot of potential. I'm really interested in it, although I probably won't buy a PS4 until next year (Xbox isn't an option in this household ). Dort mentioning Hearthstone reminded me of a game called StoneHearth. I think it could be pretty fun.

Now the Dota 2 is out of beta I'm planning to pick it up (free on steam) and mess around with it a bit. I don't have much gaming time these days.
