Hello all! Just trying to touch base with everyone and find out what you are playing currently... I am playing LOTRO until Elder Scrolls comes out that bailing on that for Camelot, if it ever goes live. Let me know and maybe we can set up a group in whatever game and a night to play together.

Good thread, Anghus! I'm in GW2 a couple hours a week right now, 10 levels to go until level cap (yeah I'm slow but the game has no subscription!)...I'm sort of burned out on themepark / content-consumption games now, I lose interest before I max out my level these days. I'm looking forward to a sandbox / virtual world game, there are several under development- The Repopulation, Archeage, Star Citizen, Origins of Malu, Black Desert, Embers of Caerus, I'm probably leaving out a couple. I'm wary of picking a game and being excited about it because I've been burned probably a dozen times doing this, so I'm cautious...I'm just looking forward to one of the sandbox-style games in development now to being something I like and something I'll play for a while! If enough people here are interested in a particular game, I'm open to signing up for a group- things are more fun with people you know  |

I feel your pain Gack.
I'm currently playing Diablo III. I'm really close to having 100% of the achievements. I'm a bit of a completionist. As soon as I get that, I'm out. I played out all of the content some time ago.

Regolyth how is D3 these days? Is it meeting the RMAH grind doom everyone prophesized? I have battery for my laptop only a coupke times a week here... been trying to finish Armored Princess, losing a dozen games of AI War, and tooling around a lot in Depths of Peril. I really miss Spiral Knights  they finally added guild hall stuff a month after I left |

It's pretty much just grinding through Acts 1-4 on increasing difficulty, occasionally switching characters. I make it more fun (or is that more of a headache?) by doing the achievements. I'm about 85% done with them. Once I'm at 100%, and I think I've said this before, I'll move on to something else. The game got old for me a while back. However, I will say that they have definitely improved the game through some of the most recent patches. The PvP patch kinda' sucked though. PvP is nothing more than a free for all... with four players.  And the real kicker is there's no way to go to a place just to PvP. You have to join random games, go to the PvP zone, and hope someone wants to come fight with you. It's rather lame. The only other option is to ask in chat. |
