Jaema and I put on our city duds and took a casual stroll (courtesy of the /walk command, we really were walking) around Lion's Arch, that bustling hub and world meeting place in human territory. Here's what we saw- note that we didn't see everything, it's a good-sized place.

The Mystic Forge- a mysterious magical device that allows one to put 4 drops into it with the chance of getting a much better drop by using the combined traits of the lesser drops you've given it. Jaema got a good green item!
Lots of vendors to shop from- I think this was a cupcake vendor
The architecture is unique and fascinating
