Greetings to Everyone

It's been a good long while since I've been here. I wish happiness and belated happy birthdays, and just plain happy days to all of you.

I've been on quite a "far journey" for most of the past two years. It started with a huge commitment to help take care of my sister who has been sick with cancer. It has resulted in a new job in a new city, some unexpected boons and sorrows, and most definitely a new outlook on life. But it is all good. I feel as well as I have in quite a while and the move has brought me closer to my wife and children as well as my sister (who is in remission and doing better than predicted).

There hasn't been a lot of time for gaming. Mostly I have been hanging out with my older son on World of Warcraft, and more recently on SWTOR, but I haven't had a lot of time for gaming lately.

At any rate, it is great to have the time to try to reconnect to a few things, to lurk here at bit, and to thank you all for remembering my birthday last year even though it must have seemed as if I dropped off the face of the earth.

I'll be checking in and posting a little from time to time... who knows, I may end up doing a little gaming yet. I did score a new computer last year (gift from my wife), and I am itching to test the limits of it.

Great to hear from you, Echo! And what wonderful news about your sister and family!

Gaming's been sort of in the slow lane here- played Rift for most of last year, am now awaiting GW2 (no subscription, but a cash shop). We will see how it goes- hope springs eternal!

Welcome back Echo! It's great to see you again. It's good to hear that you, your sister and the rest of your family are doing well. I recently came back from about a year hiatus myself. We can catch up on the new things the kids are talking about together. ;D
