I remember when Dartmoor was new, we were killing giants (which I personally thought were pretty hard), and had no idea what happened initially when the dragon flew over. I think one of my favorite things is the insults Golestandt would yell as he killed people (even if spelling/grammar was not perfect). This is not a dragon raid, simply us going out to see the beast: Of course, seeing and surviving were not the same things! I'm not sure why Golestandt needed giant backup, but... he had it.

Dartmoor, that was it! I agree Sinaedh, I thought Dartmoor was a challenging area- Sheeroe Hills was the Hib counterpart. Ahh, the good old days of classic / Shrouded Isles DAoC!

In addition, Dartmoor also seemed tougher to get into the heart. Mobs appeared to have a larger aggro radius.

Something else I didn't remember- though I had the impression that Dartmoor was tough!
