I've always enjoyed it when a game is good at rendering long-distance scenery. Age of Conan is such a game. My Bear Shaman looks down on Conall's Valley in Cimmeria, from the nearby village to the distant haunts of Vanir raiders. The valley was narrow and full of hidden dangers, though you could climb up paths to the heights in the mountains.

I suppose I should add more then one word! Lord of the Rings does this too. What's over there actually IS a hill you can climb up. Not some virtual invisible wall that only LOOKS like hills in the distance!

LOTRO definitely has good scenery, I've got a bunch of shots from there to post!
