I'll keep with my traditional, blow-you-out-of-the-water-visually trailers, thanks. Some trailers are simply gorgeous, and are great on their own. Now the subject of those trailers could be changed a bit to be more in sync with the game it's representing.
Take the teaser WAR trailer for example. It showed a Slayer in the trailer fighting a Black Orc. Slayers weren't playable in the initial game launch. So in that respect, it was misleading. Outside of that, I don't see what was so wrong about it. Now they could have taken a different dwarf to put in the trailer, but then it wouldn't have been as exciting.
Also, I think any gamer with a brain should know to take what happens in a trailer with a grain of salt, in respects to how gameplay will be. Everyone should know by now that cinematic trailers are little more than teasers to get people excited about the game and/or to progress the story.
