The Daily Grind: When have you gotten dramatic? (Massively)Hah! I remember getting very dramatic on a Master Level 7 raid in DAoC. 90 minutes into the boss fight and Typhon was at about 95% health- we weren't doing something right. It had taken months to get to this point with scheduling, then it had taken hours to get to the boss. I had a strong 'WTF!' moment and started raving to a friend about how I was getting burned out, I'm tired of this, this is supposed to be fun??? etc. etc. going on and on *laughs* They put up with my ravings well. We ended up finishing the encounter the next night, and of course I ended up getting to ML 10 and completing the series, which I regard as a real achievement now. But at the time I about lost it! Kul will remember this encounter, I think he was the only Ranger in the raid group! There's some entertaining comments to read at the link.

Umm... did that so happen to be my ML raid? *blushes*
I remember having some really tough times with ML7, ML8 and ML9. Their bosses were the worst. I think we fought the ML8 boss for four hours or more.
I can't really recall ever throwing a tantrum, but I'm sure I got upset at something similar to that. I know I've lashed out in Vent several times while leading ML raids over some of the stupid things people do and how they can't follow simple directions.

I'm not sure if that was a Regolyth, Nurgh or Rymplemeyre ML raid now that I think about it! I do remember the following ML raid (8) taking a long time to kill the boss too. That guy would one-shot you mercilessly. Here's a screenshot: This was in the early days before they made it much easier to do MLs. When you got to ML10 then, it was an accomplishment. I doubt I'll do anything as complex as that in an MMO again, but I loved (and hated) it! Heh

Yep, I was definitely on the raid. I'm almost positive it was the Rego-series (but as Kelldros, or another char, I believe). AND, in Tracy's defense, that was before it even got to the first of the series of nerfings.
PS: If not a Rego raid, I know he was at least there participating.

That actually might be the series that I lead as my bard, Bryen. I say that because in the screenshot you posted, that looks exactly like my character to the left! The red-headed celt in the purple/pink Cetus cloak.
