How often do you upgrade your gaming PC? (Massively)I try to upgrade my gaming rig every 2-3 years. I tend to buy an above-average gaming PC so that it will last a while. Recently I made the switch to 64-bit Windows 7 & DX11 vid card technology and am quite happy with the results. My current setup: Windows 7 Home Premium Intel Core i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80 ghz 8 GB DDR3 533 mhz RAM ATI Radeon HD 5770 1920x1080 monitor resolution

I built a new PC last year and it replaced one that was about 5 years old but we have a 2nd gaming PC as well...two gamers, two PCs...and that one is almost 3 years old now and it is probably in need of some upgrades later this year.
Current PC: AMD 3.2ghz 955 Black CPU Radeon HD 4890 video card 4gb ram Win 7

I did the same thing Oatik did. I replaced my six year old computer last year. I usually buy parts to upgrade it along the way, but I wasn't able to there for a while, hence the delay. One thing I noticed since playing DAoC again is how fast my new computer loads compared to the one I had years ago while playing. I used to load the first screen (to the character select) in about twenty seconds, and the second screen (to the actual game) in another twenty seconds. Loading the game on my current rig, both screens together take about five seconds or less. It's a huge difference.
Computer Specs: Windows 7 64-bit Intel Core i7 920 2.66 GHz Quad Core 6 GB DDR3 1600 RAM Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit Video Card
