The Daily Grind: Do you like minigames in MMOs? (Massively)I loooooove minigames in my MMOs! Fishing can often be surprisingly fun (it was even useful in WoW), and going back to UO, where minigames abounded, I remember playing chess or checkers in taverns, writing books in-game to put in the Britannia Library for others to find, and even growing garden plants. I remember being on master level raids in DAoC where at the occasional pause in the action characters would play dice. Little touches like that are great. I really like the fact that MMOs can be virtual worlds, and the more you have to do in a virtual world the better it is. Fighting and crafting are fine, but more variety is better.

I love min-games in MMOs as well. Fluff is a great thing to have in MMOs. It makes the world that much more immersive and keeps people like me, coming back.
