Yes, that's a GIF image from April 2002 This scene is of my Cleric (Kirth of Darkholme, the first guild I ever created) in a full group of 8 Albs pulling Pygmy Goblins in Lyonesse. Pygmy Goblins were Albion's version of Hibernia's Fins- you needed a group of 40-somethings to take on the tough groups of mobs (crowd control was a big bonus). One of the little buggers is getting zapped by a smite from one of the 3 Clerics in the group (okay, we were healer-heavy that night). The Pygmy Goblins were small and hard to see. They hung out on the hill not too far from those ruined farmhouses. They would come running fast in that odd ape-like gait of theirs with their spears. A bad pull with a failed crowd control spell could get you wiped. Often there were a few groups there, next to each other. Interesting to see an image of the early version of DAoC's interface, before they remodeled their icons. Also, the guild cloaks look good even today, and the dyeable armor and clothing were a big plus back then. It's hard to believe that 8 years later many games don't have that as a standard feature. Not to mention that handy friends list window. That was great to have!

If you had a nice, well-balanced group, the auto-pull feature was great! Well, until they fixed it.
