Why do so many people get things wrong? EQ was not the first MMO, not by far. The first MMO (traditional MMO in the way we think of them now) was... crap, I can't remember. It failed anyways, which makes UO the first, successful MMO. How do people overlook that? It's starting to irk me, reading a lot of these reviews and people keep talking about thing starting here or there, when they're leaving out the games that came before, and inspired what they consider to be the first, or best. WoW wasn't first and neither was EQ.
And while I'm on the subject, games didn't start costing $14.95. That came with WoW in 2004. UO was only $9.95. Geez people (not you Gack), get your facts straight! You're making yourselves look moronic and feeding younger people wrong information.

I think the first graphical MMO was Meridian 59 Yeah, people often say UO was the first. That's not even getting into MUDs that were around for years before graphics hit the scene.
