LOTRO has always had the reputation for having a slightly more mature community and a decent amount of RPers. I saw a Fellowship advertising for members in Bree today, here is their site:

They have over 700 characters, even with alts that is a lot for a 2.5 year old game. And they have an RP committee!
I read on the forums there was a recent Fellowship Faire in-game with 30 or so Fellowships gathering to look for members and have a good time- not sure which server this was on...
Makes me feel good to see this kind of thing
