Just a note: I've had several crashes when zoning into buildings in the Shire. Is that par for the course? Other than that the game seems to be running flawlessly. I have a core duo, with 4 gigs RAM, and a nice vid card, so the machine should be up to this game easily.
Lots of running around in the Shire in the Prologue. I've been from one end to the other (or so it seems) several times just to get the first 3 prologue quests. Are all the prologues that way? (Not really complaining, it's beautiful country).

That's odd, I've never crashed while playing LOTRO if I remember right. That's on 2 different PCs that are less powerful than yours. Check out their support forum and post there if you don't see anything relating to that issue. Odd, LOTRO runs great for me (except for the occasional lag pocket, probably ISP related). It's true, you do run around the Shire a good amount- I've done it 3 times or so. Don't forget the horse posts, you can ride around, too! The Shire is my favorite MMO zone of all time Absolutely beautiful, and lovingly crafted.
