Yikes! I don't know if I even remember my login/account information!

Mine was probably hacked years ago (I got an email to that effect, who knows if it was true). I'm going to simply create a new account. That should work fine!

I remember a lot of data breaches, phishing attempts that made you think your account was hacked, actual account hacks, accounts frozen by Blizzard because whoever stole your account was behaving badly etc etc. Since I'd stopped playing by then I didn't bother trying to clean it up. I did create a new account for classic this week -- even if you remember the old login stuff you have to link it to .. battlenet ? .. or some such anyway.

When I went to create an account with the email I use for gaming, it was surprising to see that I already had a battle.net account. Buuut, the country that was listed for it was Taiwan The customer service chat person was amazing! It appears that someone made an account with my email from Taiwan and was using it to play Starcraft II! After getting my ID confirmed, they freed up my email and I immediately changed my password, created a new account, put ALL the security methods on it and tada!, I have an account with my beloved game email. The next day, I logged in and viewed the activity on my account and there were attempted logins from Taiwan, Germany, China, and Brazil. I guess my email had been put on a list, but NOW none of them have been successful getting in. What a racket. Ari

Amazing, isn't it! I think the big draw to use other people's accounts is not only wrongdoing on that account but in some countries you have to go online with your actual identity.

Ari! You probably have a lot of big characters on games you're never played now!

Yeah, I actually wondered if I was disrupting some e-sporter and they would be very upset.

Their problem, not yours. Don't use other people's accounts.

Yeah, I actually wondered if I was disrupting some e-sporter and they would be very upset. I find that hilarious and befitting. That's what they get. I linked my Diablo, StarCraft and Warcraft accounts years ago. I even have the authenticator app on my phone. I recommend using it if y'all are going to play WoW. Blizzard games have to be the most hacked, tricked, duped, or stolen accounts out there.
