Shadow of Mordor

I just beat this. I really liked most of it- the nemesis system, sandbox world, and LOTR touches all came off nicely, but what the hell was with that boss fight??

The Dark Lord Sauron attains corporeal form AND the One Ring of Power, a situation that we're assured all throughout LOTR would pretty much end the world immediately, and I killed him by pressing spacebar five times. I loved the beginning of the second half of the game, where Talion gets Brand and the story takes a darker turn. I was convinced and thrilled that Talion was gonna find out he's the heir to the Witch-king of Angmar and the ending would be him handing over a psychically united Mordor to Sauron's newborn Eye. God that would have been awesome. I'm not even sure how it did end. Celebrimbor fades away and Talion walks off to finish PS4 trophies?

I had great fun playing this and remember by the end I felt I was just too powerful for most fights. I think there is a lot more replay ability in the game and might run through it again if I get some time.
