There's a surprising amount of nostalgia in loading screens! I'll see if I can dredge up more shots in the future. Vanguard used various concept art images for its loading screens. Pretty neat. |

The best loading screens ever are the ones from Resident Evil. They're so creepy. You're slowly moving from one area to another, trying to avoid zombies, and then you hit a door with that creepy slow loading screen. You have no idea what lies on the other side.  Edit:It just occurred to me that some of you may not have played Resident Evil (shame on you!). Here's a link to a walkthrough of a specific area. You'll see the first screen load within the first few seconds. You never know what's going to be behind those doors; zombies, monsters, or nothing! |

Oh yeah, the music alone brings back lots of memories from that game...I miss those days when it was all new.

I never played Anarchy Online. That looks really nice. It could serve as a wallpaper image, or poster of some sort.
