Ok, here I am on vacation wait, let me back up, I haven't played a game in the last two weeks...so now here I am on vacation and I'm thinking about getting some gaming in, but I have two issues. First I don't know what I'd play which is always a bad sign and second I actually thought this morning "I don't want to waste the whole day gaming."
Baby Jebus wept.
Did I really think that gaming was a waste of time? It's not like I'm volunteering in a soup kitchen or anything when I'm not gaming. *sigh* I think that some up the state of the current MMO market. Hell, I even have a prepaid two month pass to WAR!
If anyone needs me I'll be out in the yard, it looks like a really nice day outside...

Well Oat, to be honest, I've been gaming around twice a week lately- LOTRO unless I get out Left 4 Dead and I still have to finish CoD4. I'm hoping for a new good game by this holiday season, or I'll...well, I'll do just what I'm doing now I've been reading more. I should be writing more!

I don't think it's a *bad* sign, necessarily. In fact, it might be a good sign that you don't want to game. I went through a time where I was SO disgusted with the only game I've ever really loved (DAOC) that I joined all those who had already been smart enough to see the writing on the wall. And then after six months or so, I missed it so much that I rejoined. And found one or two others I knew, and one or two new faces that I enjoyed talking to... and now I'm having a lot of fun there again, even while dreading EA yanking my characters from Classic and dumping them on a TOA server. There will have to be a decision made again at that point, but I'll do it when I have to. Anyway, the way I see it, the only constant in the universe is change. So change will happen. We're just not always happy when it does.

I tried going back to DAoC 3 times after leaving in 2005...as a matter of fact, I'll write a brief post about that soon
