This was a ruined castle you'd fly over on Kalimdor. I don't think I ever stepped foot in it. WoW's flying mount routes were cool for seeing areas you may not have explored. |

This was a mob at the far end of Desolace (I think). It and others were guarding valuable herbs that I used to harvest. I have to admit I worried about taking on a mob with the title 'Lord' though. He was tough and I had to get a few levels on him! |

The boat just pulled up to Ratchet, the neutral Goblin port on Kalimdor. alliance and Horde could mix here, which was pretty cool. On a side note, I liked the boat rides! |

Sunset over the Hinterlands (I think!), a level 40-ish zone in the Eastern Kingdoms. We'd just cleaned out a temple with some weird cult worshipers. You know MMOs, travel the world, meet interesting people, and kill every one of them you see  |

This was a large statue in a desolate zone whose name escapes me now. There may have been quests surrounding it, but the details are being lost in the mists of time...ahh 2005, you are slipping away!  |

that troll temple in Hinterlands was such a pain... the path wound back and forth like five times to get to the top. But yeah the zone was beautiful. A nightmare dragon spawned at a big dimensional gate off to the north, and there was a tiny slime cave somewhere in the east that was the best place to gather Ghost Mushrooms in the world.
