Sanctum is the capital of the Guardian faction in Rift- this raid looked interesting with the UI off and the buffs glowing. Everything looks peaceful and holy! We were getting ready to go off on an adventure, of course. I have to admit I hated those two-headed giant tortoise mounts. Rift has great graphics, and they run very well, too. |

You hated that mount? I thought it was awesome! Maybe you hated it because they really cluttered some of the lower level areas. People could ride those, being a special item with the Collector's Edition, before they could the normal ones.

Yeah, I had one *laughs* They were too big and people would block mailboxes and quest NPCs with them! Also, the idea of a fast tortoise seemed stretching the idea of fantasy a little too far for me ;D
There is a lot of positive things you can say about Rift. I think I'm simply tiring of the standard themepark formula...I want a sandbox bad!
