Storyboard: Time is not on your side (Massively)And when you get into a scene, for the love of anything, make that scene snap. Type your responses quickly and don't waste a whole lot of time with flowery speech (unless that's one of your character's things, anyway). Keep it punchy and active. If the scene starts to drag a little, jump ahead and move along. As a general rule, if I've spent an hour and a half roleplaying, I feel like I had fun the whole time. If I've spent three hours, I'm waiting to finish up something that could have been done two and a half hours faster.I do remember some loooong RP sessions in the past. That can be an issue, particularly when not everyone has the time- and 10 years ago, it seemed like there was a lot more time lying around MMOs today seem to be plagued with time deficit disorder- OMG down time is killing me!, go go go go go!- and RP probably isn't too much different in that regard. That doesn't mean it should be rushed, but if it meanders, it may sputter out.
