This is one of those mechanics that I'd like to see more of. Scouts could set up a camp in the wilderness that would heal battle fatigue by modest amounts, handy when you were far away from cantinas. They'd get more elaborate as your skill level was raised- for instance, the torches would be replaced by electric lights. If you advanced to the Ranger profession- sort of an advanced Scout- you could eventually erect an elaborate large camp around you for your groupmates, complete with vendors and crafting stations and walk-in tents. Aside from the practical benefits, they simply looked cool. They were a great way to meet other players out in the wilderness, who could stop by and chat a bit.

Hah, good point Loendal!
Funny how I have to give credit to WoW for having working chairs. I don't know if there's a game since that has the ability to actually sit in a chair (not kneel or squat on it, but actually sit in the chair like in real life). Little things like that mean a lot to immersion for me.

Unless you're in a bugtest / beta-test frame of mind, you'll want to go to Liberator.
