You know it when you have it, forums, blog posts, dev interviews, you've read and seen them all. The release date is announced and you nearly peed yourself in anticipation. Yes, it's new game fever, you might not like the game this much ever again even if you end up playing for years.
Hopefully no one passes out from all the hype and everyone can level set their expectations of what will actually happen at release, nothing is perfect including the games we played and loved.
Now however is not the time to worry about any of that, it's the time to research your class, time to dream of being a powerful mage or backstabbing rogue. Do I alt up with a massive plate wearing tank or run through the forest as a range with a pet at my side.
I say take the feel good ride and go with it, plan your adventures with your buddies and ponder your facial hair options! Who's with me?

I'm with ya Oat!
Nothing like New MMO Fever, though the condition rarely persists for more than the first free month these days. I am going to try mightily to play no more than 2 characters in Rift- no guarantees, though!
