Bloodline Champions (Wikipedia)
Bloodline Champions (BLC) is an Arena based PvP game developed by the Swedish company Stunlock Studios using Microsoft XNA. Bloodline Champions won both "Game of the Year" and "Winner XNA" in the Swedish Game Awards 2009. The game is currently in its third beta phase, as of April 29, 2010.
The players in this game are split up into two teams (Warm and Cold) with up to five players per team[4]. The objective is different depending on the game mode.
First Impressions: Bloodline Champions (Massively)
"Bloodline Champions, a new arena-based combat game from Stunlock Studios, asks only one thing of the player: to kill. Unfortunately for me, I am better at balancing bicycles on my nose than I am at pwning noobs, so I was a little hesitant in trying the game. I decided to puff out my chest and hit the download button. What I found was about what I expected, but made with care. The game is "tailored for esport," meaning that it is made to allow players to repeatedly knock the crud out of each other while racking up kills and stats. If you ever ran the World of Warcraft arena over and over in the hopes of filling out your wardrobe with "welfare epics," then you have experienced a game much like Bloodline."
Bloodline Champions (Keen & Graev's Gaming Blog)
"Bloodline Champions, developed Published by Funcom and developed by Stunlock Studios, is a PvP arena game currently in some form of mass-invite beta stage. It plays in a WarCraft 3 almost isometric view where you control a character that looks like a standard hero from what you would see in a DoTA-like setup. There are four character types: Tank, Healer, Melee, Ranged. Each champion has a unique set of abilities, but for the most part they play very similar...I see a solid future for the game if they increase the number of heroes, ensure balance, and try to carve out a niche in competitive gaming."

Bloodline Champions: PvP In Your Face
MMORPG.com's Garrett Fuller recently had the opportunity to check out Funcom's online arena-style game called "Bloodline Champions". Garrett calls Bloodline Champions "the perfect fuel for PvP players who need their fix". He's got a lot of good reasons for that thought so keep reading. Let us know what you think of Bloodline Champions by posting to the forums.
Funcom's Bloodline Champions dated (Eurogamer)
"Bloodline Champions, the free and refreshingly blatant online arena combat game, will be released either in late December or early January, Funcom has told Eurogamer. Those dates are clarified as Bloodlines Champions reaches another beta milestone in player numbers. Latest count: 150,000. "
